Grotesque is a fictional retailing concept done as a marketing project for academic purposes. The name Grotesque was inspired by the practical typeface movement after the proliferation of the printing press. As Sans Serifs typefaces was considered to be ugly at that point of time in history, Grotesque as a brand name was named after its revolutionary position in the history of print and how it Sans Serifs typefaces came to be so popular and aesthetically pleasing in the contemporary world, reflecting on how fashion and minimalism could be as aesthetically pleasing in such a way too.
